Our
Practice
Two
aspects of our approach set us apart from other management
consulting firms.
We
have a unique combination of strengths
Critical thinking. We engage in a lively intellectual
exchange with our clients until the logical and factual
basis for a strategy, an initiative, or a finding in an
evaluation is clear and meaningful.
Sophisticated understanding of organizational dynamics.
At the same time, we see psychological/behavioral dynamics
most others miss. Each of the links in the chain of strategic
action strategy, initiative, and evaluation
brings the prospect of dramatic change. Because of this,
strategic action often sparks complex organizational dynamics
that can distort thinking, stimulate resistance, and challenge
a focus on the task at hand. We understand these dynamics
and know how to maximize task-focus.
We put clients in charge
Clients lead our projects, even as we infuse engagements
with our professional skills and judgment. Client leadership
builds in-house intellectual capital, grows the leadership
ability of key managers, and produces grounded, longer-lasting
outcomes.

he maintains ongoing relationships in philanthropy and the
